6.24.08 GO SKATE DAY PICS!
This past Saturday was a very special day. Wanna know why? Cause it was international “Go Skateboarding Day,” and if you didn’t know that, then guess what, you missed out on the best day of the year. I spent the day cruisin’ with Osiris Girls team rider Annie Sullivan and her party posse which included pro surfer Jen Smith, college buds Candace, Gina, and Bri (who is also an awesome photographer). Annie claims that Go Skateboarding Day is the best holiday of the year, yes, even better than Christmas! Crazy! We celebrated by partaking in Sector 9’s Annual Boardwalk Poker Run down in Pacific/Mission Beach in San Diego, CA. It was the first official day of summer and also happened to be the hottest day of the whole year but we managed to stay hydrated and took a couple of dips in the ocean to cool off.
