Osiris Girls Team Rider Morgan Mcdole went on a cross country road trip skate tour with her friend’s Kerry and Lorraine. Check out her re-cap and pictures:

THE CREW

Kerry: Kerry is in the passenger seat, and is horrible at taking directions. She always has a smile on her face, and is able to make long hours with the driver without falling asleep. Her nickname is the ‘Sewing Machine’ because she made our DIRT ‘07 shirts, among other things. She also has to make a lot of pit stops. She did pee her pants one time, as I slipped down a hill, running into her.
Lorraine: Lorraine’s nickname is ‘Eating Machine’, as she is in the backseat stuck with the cooler of food. It gets boring back there with the windows down and the radio blaring. She compared herself to a cat, as she has only been sleeping and eating. Lorraine tells funny stories. She is also a germ freak, so she always has a bottle of Germ X with her. Oh yeah, she is also the drama of the group.
Morgan: This is me. I am the DD, so I stick to the soda pop and water until we arrive at our destination. My nickname is ‘Dancing Machine,’ after a night in Frisco.

HIGHLIGHTS

We met a nice guy named Sam, who built cool cars, and let us stay with him in Santa Cruz; surfed County Line, made a duet recording with Tom Petty, and road the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz (but not in that order). We witnessed summer solstice in San Francisco, escaped Tahoe 6 hrs before the fires hit, and made 23 cents in a casino. We also bobsledded in Park City, Utah, and got a free meal at Texas Roadhouse in New Orleans.
