7.3.07 SURFRIDER CHARITY EVENT
Back in May, a group of Cal State Long Beach students hosted a charity cruise to benefit the Surfrider Foundation. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. The event took place at the Long Beach Harbor and included a raffle, silent auction, dj, dancing, and an informative guest speaker from the Surfrider Foundation. Osiris Girls helped out by donating shoes to raffle away. The night was a huge success, raising about $11,000 for the foundation.
